  Step 1.Organizing the teaching

1.Greetings

2.Sing an English song.

Step 2. Revision:

1.Review clothing the Ss have mastered with “Spell It”:jeans, skirt, blouse, hat, pants, sweater, shoes, socks, jacket and glasses.

2. Play a game to review months of the year.Say the months in order with the class a few times.

  Step 3.Key concepts:winter, sping, summer, fall

1.Introduce:

a.Put the large cards for the months of the year,starting with December.This is winter.Winter.Winter is cold!What’s the weather?It’s ____.What’s the temperature?It’s ____degrees.

            b.Walk through the seasons again,but only say the words for each season.Ask for volunteers to walk with the teacher and say the words.

1.     Student book:Play the audiotape as the Ss follow in their books.

2.     Practice:

 a.Play variation 1 of “Dress up”.

b.Divide the class into small groups.Ask each group to practice the different seasons.

c.Play “Go Fish”with the Ss flashcards for months of the year and seasons.
