《Lesson 23: Are You Ready for a Quiz?》

一、教学目标

（一）知识方面：

１、学生可以读、写、说并且听懂下列词汇：

　about, fast, slow, faster, slower,

  airplane, train, Beijing, trip, hotel.

２、学生能够在插图的帮助下理解本课故事。

（二）能力方面：

１、继续培养学生敢说的勇气，使学生在口语交际中灵活运用本课会话。

２、继续培养学生倾听的习惯，包括教师的说，听学生的说以及听录音。

（三）情感、态度方面

１、努力为学生创设轻松、活泼的课堂氛围，培养学生乐于模仿，敢于开口的能力，激发学生用英语表达的欲望。

２、让学生在理解故事的过程中体验学习英语的快乐，使学生保持兴趣，树立自信。

３、通过故事，渗透参与意识和合作意识。

二、教具准备：词汇卡片、北京天安门和故宫的图片

　录音机及录音磁带

三、重、难点分析

１、在复习旧知的基础上听懂、会说、会写本课的会话是教学的重点也是难点。

２、培养学生借助图画故事的意思进而整体感知故事内容的能力是难点。

四、教学过程

（一）激情导入，复习旧知

１.  Greeting:

教师用Hello! How do you feel now? Are you happy?　等表达与学生问候，让学生在轻松的交流中走进本课。

２．Sing:《 The Trip Song 》

让学生看大屏幕，跟随播放的画面及歌词，学生一起唱。

３．Review

（１）出示airplane及train单词卡片，师生进行快速问答：

　What’s this?

  Is this a or a ____?

  Is an airplane faster than a train?

  Is a train slower than a plane?

　（２）找几个自告奋勇的学生出示首都北京天安门广场及故宫的图片，学生间进行讨论。

　 S1: What’s this?

   S2:

Tian’anmen Square

in Beijing.

Tian’anmen Square

is very famous. What’s this?

   S3: It’s the Palace Museum in Beijing. It is very old and beautiful.

  S4: Beijing is great. Is Beijing the capital city of our country?

  S5:Yes.

  （３）播放录音，感受新知

　　　播放录音《Are You Ready for a Quiz?》Get the student smile for the right answer .Cry for the wrong answer.仔细观学生的理解情况。

（四）师生问答深化理解，教师给予学生充分的肯定与鼓励。

       　（二）、Story:《Li Ming Goes to the Airport》

（１）师生浏览整个故事，说说故事中都有谁？

（２）让学生充分发挥想象力、创造力，说说对插图的理解，串连成一个完整的故事。

（３）播放录音，通过看图或做动作引导学生理解，如：

Where is Ling Ming? Why?

Where are Jenny and Danny at the beginning of the story?

Where are Jenny and Danny at the end of the story?

Is Li Ming sad sometimes? Why?

What makes him happy?

Why have Jenny and Danny come to China?

在师生讨论过程中，引导学生认识要友善对待周围的人，特别是需

要帮助的人

　　　　（三）、巩固练习，总结升华

做游戏“Stop—Go”.用于巩固本课的会话内容。

　　　　（四）、布置作业、及时反馈：

完成《活动手册》内容，学生独立完成，对有困难的学生教师给

予帮助，最后师生订正。

　　　　（五）、师生告别，结束教学活动。
